Gardening @ The Edge
The eco-garden serves as the best recreational and learning place for our young pupils. The plants in our garden are classified according to the various groups such as flowering and non-flowering plants, herbs, fruit plants and many more. Our P3 pupils were there to have their trail in which they made use of their observational skills to complete their tasks.
Our eco-garden achieved Silver award in the 2014 for the Community in Bloom award organized by National Parks. This is an award which serves to recognise and reward gardening efforts by community groups such as schools.
Investigation on Mould
Mould can be found all around us in our daily lives. Gaining a deeper understanding of them through conducting experiments using bread allows the pupils see how mould can affect the food they are eating. Through these experiments, they also infer how much preservatives can be found in our food.
