Adaptations for Survival - Primary 6 Learning Journey to Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum
During the Science learning journey to the LKCNHM museum, the students get the chance to examine real specimens in a hands-on session. Through the workshop and the visit to the museum, they learned more about the structural adaptations of various animals.
The learning journey aims to:
- Introduce students to a vast array of animal specimens that seek to create curiosity and educate students on the adaptations exhibited by these animals.
- Facilitate a better appreciation and understanding of the importance of conservation as students make connection of the information that they have gathered from the workshop and gallery tour with the current conservation practices in Singapore
- Build confidence in students as they prepare their research for the topic ‘Adaptation’ after the learning journey.
