A.     Primary 1 Registration Matters

  • How many vacancies are available at Edgefield Primary School?
  • What are the seats allocated for each phase?

The number of Primary One vacancies each school will offer for the Primary One Registration Exercise will be made available in June before the registration begins. Parents can refer to Primary Schools Vacancies by Phases for information on vacancies for each school.

B. School Operation Matters

1.              What should I do if I have a change of Home and Mailing Address?

Please inform the staff at General Office who will advise you on the form(s) and supporting document(s) to submit.

4.        What are the operating hours of the General Office (GO)?

7.30am – 5pm
Monday – Friday

5.        What are the opening hours of the school gates?

7.        What is the opening hours of the school library?

The library is current closed due to COVID-19. However online borrowing services are still available.

8.        My child is currently studying in the school and I wish to contribute my service as a Parents Support Group (PSG) member. How can I join?

9.        What are the available CCAs?

The dental clinic is current closed. It will reopen in 2021.

C. Student Care Centre matters

  • What are the operating hours of the Student Care Centre?
  • Can I reserve a place to enrol my child in the Student Care Centre?
  • What kind of programmes will the Student Care Centre offer?
  • Can I use the Child Development Account (CDA) to pay for Student Care fees?
  • When can I start to register for Student Care services?

Whee!Canopus Student Care is selected by the school after careful consideration of staff competency, the type of programmes they offer as well as the fees they intend to charge. Parents can apply to the centre directly for admission during the P1 Orientation. 

According to MSFD guidelines, the Student Care Centre runs from after school dismissal to 7 pm. In accordance to MSFD guidelines, the basic Student Care Centre programme should comprise the following:

  • Meals (lunch and tea)
  • Supervised study time
  • Bath time
  • Group activities
  • Parent involvement activities
