Language Weeks

The MTL Fortnight is a platform for students to actively learn their Mother Tongue languages as a living language. It aims to create an immersive environment for learning and appreciating Mother Tongue languages and cultures in authentic settings.

Cultural Camp

The Cultural Camp is curated for Primary 4 students. Filled with activities such as traditional games and cultural shows, our students are provided with opportunities to use their Mother Tongue languages and learn more about their own culture. As a result, they cultivate a deeper interest in the subject and enjoy learning Mother Tongue. 

CL Cultural Performance Exposure Scheme

The Cultural Performance Exposure Scheme (CPES) aims to enhance our students’ understanding and knowledge of the Chinese Language and the Chinese Culture beyond the school. Our Primary 5 Chinese Language students were treated to an exciting Chinese drama performance ‘Three Strikes Against the White Bone Demon’ by the Singapore Chinese Art Center and the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPLL) on 11 April 2024, Thursday. This experience aims to enrich Chinese Language education by providing exposure to Chinese cultural performances beyond the classrooms.
