Key Programmes

Dance

As part of the Learning for Life Programme (LLP), students attend dancesport, ethnic and culture dance modules during their Performing Arts (PA) lessons. Focusing on developing etiquette, collaboration and confidence, students showcase the dances to parents at the end of each module.

Photography

Photography is one of the unique programmes in Edgefield. Learning photography helps enhance visual literacy and the ability to communicate through images, which is increasingly important in today's digital world. It improves attention to detail and observation skills, as students learn to capture moments and scenes effectively. It also encourages creativity and self-expression, allowing students to explore their artistic side, boosting confidence as they showcase their skills to others.

Ceramics

The ceramics module in the curriculum is designed to offer hands-on experience in clay sculpting and pottery, enabling students to unleash their imagination and create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. This module develops students’ fine motor skills, fostering a sense of craftsmanship, and promoting artistic expression, giving students with a unique avenue for self-expression and creativity.
