External MTL Competitions

Edgefield Primary partners with the three Mother Tongue Language Learning and Promotion Committees (MTLLPC) and other community partners to participate in various activities year-round to facilitate students' learning and use of MTL outside the classroom. Students take part in activities ranging from literary festivals, theatre performances to language-based competitions.

Traditional folk art 'Villu Paattu'

Six of our Edgefield Pri students performed the traditional folk art 'Villu Paattu' and were featured in Tamil Murasu as well as on the ‘Thalam’ programme aired on Vasantham, showcasing their talent and promoting Tamil language and culture..
